Rosa Porrino granite is a commercial name for a pink. medium to coarse-grained carboniferous granite. This stone may be nominated as a granite on a global scale. and it must be nominated as a granite in the European Standard's application area. A small sample of Rosa Porrino granite is usually representative. with little variation in colour and veining; however. for large projects. swatch samples must be approved to ensure that the blocks are all extracted from the same quarry face for matching purposes.

A clear epoxy resin filler may be used during the polishing process to fill any micro fissures or tiny pitting. but this has no effect on the stone's integrity and simply provides an even smoother surface finish. Rosa Porrino Granite is frost resistant and has a consistent polish. making it suitable for both interior and exterior use.
